Farm First Vets is looking for an experienced colleague for our expanding 8 vet, farm-animal only veterinary practice.View Advert
The practice is situated on the Welsh/English border in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. If you enjoy the outdoor life the area is unbeatable, surrounded by mountains and near the coast. There is an excellent road network, with the cities of Cardiff and Bristol nearby and Heathrow/London a 2 hour drive away.
At Farm First we are committed to maintaining our independence as a means of delivering a high standard of service. We have all the usual equipment and are committed to providing a progressive service for our clients.
The successful applicant will join our stable, established team in a friendly and supportive environment.
There is a good mix of clinical work, with dairy, beef, and sheep work in abundance. We have 2 dedicated TB testers to carry out our TB testing. Our farmers are a friendly bunch and we enjoy a good rapport with many of them.
The position would suit an experienced vet looking to play an active role in developing the business. We are keen to support rapid progress within the practice and would actively encourage business directorship for the right candidate.
We are offering a full-time position with a competitive salary, a good rota (1 weekday off a fortnight and a Friday pm off every 4 weeks), holiday and CPD provision.
If you are interested, please send your CV to Rob Smith or Jane Anscombe via e-mail to email@example.com . Alternatively, phone Rob (07971 654470) or Jane (07968 334501) for an informal discussion (preferably evenings).
